ActivitiesTo improve, standardize and coordinate methods (across modalities and scale) for (i) radiomic feature extraction from abnormal and normal structures within medical images within imaging (radiology & pathology) and radiation oncology, including aspects of segmentation and registration, (ii) algorithms related to machine learning as applied to imaging and radiation oncology, and (iii) evaluation methodologies.  Algorithms include those related to supervised, nonsupervised, and self-supervised classification methods, data reduction, outcome prediction, imaging reconstruction, relevant to the mission of AAPM.
