AAPM is located in Alexandria, Virginia. We are here to be of service to the AAPM membership. The Headquarters Office hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday - Friday. Travel by Metro
The closest metro station to the headquarters office is King Street (yellow or blue line) which is 2 stops from Reagan National (DCA). The fare is approx. $2.00 one-way, depending time of day, transit time is approximately 10 minutes. View the Metro System Map.
Travel by Car
3-hour parking on Prince Street. There are kiosks on the street which take credit cards or cash. The rate is $1.75/hour.
Entrances on both Diagonal Road and Reinekers Lane, right across King St. from the Metro station. Follow attendees' instructions on where to park. Rates are:

Most convenient airports are:
- Reagan National (DCA) - about 4 miles away by cab; or take metro.
- Washington Dulles International (IAD) - about 32 miles away by cab; potentially brutal traffic.
- Baltimore Washington International (BWI) - about 60 miles away by cab; potentially brutal traffic.
Travel by Train
If you are traveling by train, the closest stop is the Alexandria station on Amtrak. The station is a six minute walk (.3 mile) to 1631 Prince Street.

Michael Woodward, Deputy Executive Director

Lisa Rose Sullivan, Director, Meetings and Programs
Lisa oversees the Meetings Department and the staff involved in providing many of the membership services, including the Online Learning Center and the Awards and Honors program. Lisa also serves as the liaison to the Education Council.
Robert McKoy, Director, Finance
Robert serves as the Associationís chief financial officer and, as such, oversees all financial operations including preparation of the annual budget. Contact him for matters relating to financial reporting and budgets.
Laurie Allen, Programs Manager
Laurie assists with processes involved in planning the Association meetings, primarily program development and abstract submission processes.
Tanvir Chowdhury, Staff Accountant
Tanvir is responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager and Controller with the accounting functions for the Association, including monthly closing of the books of record, account reconciliation, and journal entry adjustments. Contact Tanvir with questions related to finance, such as dues payments or expense reimbursements.
Tammy Conquest, Senior Applications Developer
Tammy is responsible for design and implementation of new and existing web-based applications.
Viv Dennis, Administrative Assistant
Viv provides administrative support to the volunteer leaders in support of the activities of the association. She also assists with the Medical Physics journal and coordinates copyright requests.
Phyllis J. Doak, Corporate Partnerships Manager
Phyllis is responsible for the development and implementation of AAPM's Corporate Partnership program. She serves as the point of contact for Corporate Partners with questions relating to AAPM programs.
Corbi Foster, Meetings & Programs Manager
Corbi is responsible for the AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting and related association meetings.
Zailu Gao, Senior Applications Developer
Zailu is responsible for design and implementation of new and existing database programs.
Janet Harris, Accounting Assistant
Janet is responsible for processing and posting all of AAPM's daily cash receipts, including dues renewals. She also prepares checks and handles the creation and distribution of vendor invoices.
Jaime Hoza, Meetings and Programs Assistant
Jaime assists with logistics for meetings held at HQ and processes involved in planning Association meetings and conferences. She also provides assistance with programs such as Awards & Honors and Grants & Fellowships.
Carla Cobos Hull, Programs Manager
Carla serves as the project manager for the activities of the volunteers and vendors participating in IHE-RO consistent with both the charges of the WG IHE-RO and the goals and objectives of AAPM. Contact Carla with any questions you may have about IHE-RO.
Jennifer Hudson, Membership Services Manager
Jennifer coordinates the membership application process and handles membership matters. She is also the contact for Corporate Affiliate questions.

Shayna Knazik, Programs Manager
Shayna manages Science Council activities and committee processes. She also serves as the staff liaison to the Science Council.
Melissa Liverpool, Accounting Manager

Karen MacFarland, Senior Meetings & Programs Manager
Karen is responsible for the AAPM Annual Meeting, Summer School and related association meetings.
Richard Martin, Government Relations Specialist
Richard assists AAPM in their interactions with the federal and state agencies and legislatures on issues related to the profession and practice of medical physics.
Jacqueline Ogburn, Education Manager
Jackie is the main point of contact for questions regarding the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) and the Accredited Dosimetry Calibration Laboratory Program. Jackie also provides support for the Online Continuing Education and Virtual Library e-learning programs.
Abby Pardes, Graphic and Web Designer
Abby provides web design and support for the AAPM and other related websites.
Lisa Schober, Executive Office Manager
Lisa provides support to the Executive Director, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Committees. She serves as the liaison to AAPM chapters and Administrative Council. Lisa also maintains the AAPM Policy Manual, handles elections, and manages the headquarters office at various AAPM association meetings.
Rachel Smiroldo, Exhibits and Meetings Assistant
Rachel coordinates the exhibit processes and assists with registration for Association meetings. She also represents AAPM by staffing Association exhibit booth at physics-related meetings.
Rohan Tapiyawala, Applications Developer
Rohan is responsible for design and implementation of new and existing database programs.
Nancy Vazquez, Programs Manager
Nancy manages the AAPM Awards and Honors Program and registration for association meetings. She also coordinates newsletter activities, including receipt of articles and document production.
Nicholai Wingreen, Office Services Assistant
Nicholai answers the main phone line and handles general inquiries. Councils and committees should contact Nicholai for assistance with setting up conference calls.
