| Activities | - Review the present TG-61 formalism to determine whether an air kerma calibration-based approach is still appropriate for clinical reference dosimetry of kV beams.
- Provide an Addendum to TG-61 with the following revisions and considerations:
- Update and extend recommended data for x-ray dosimetry with nominal beam energies up to 300 kV.
- Define specifications for a reference-class ionization chamber in kV beams.
- Provide practical guidance on the clinical implementation of TG-61.
- Provide guidance on estimating uncertainties with an example uncertainty budget for clinical reference dosimetry of kV beams.
- Determine if it is appropriate to recommend the use of computational tools for clinical kV beam characterization and dosimetry, potentially including spectrum modeling software and/or web-based databases.
