COVID-19 Risk Management Guidelines for Group Meetings at AAPM Headquarters
Meetings at AAPM HQ will follow federal, state, and local COVID guidelines at a minimum. AAPM HQ is in the City of Alexandria in Virginia and the level is LOW.
- Because of continuing public health concerns, participants of AAPM meetings at HQ are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated.
- Masks are strongly encouraged.
Additional Information:
- The HQ HVAC infrastructure has been upgraded with technology to reduce certain viruses and bacteria in the air, including SARS-CoV-2.
- Sanitization stations, disposable masks and face shields, and single serve dishes and utensils will be provided throughout all meetings.

Travel from Reagan National Airport (DCA)
Take the WMATA (Metro) Blue line to King Street
Station (2 stops). Depending on the time of day, transit time is approximately 10 minutes and the cost is ~$3.
Travel from Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Take the WMATA (Metro) Silver line
(towards Largo) to Rosslyn Metro Station (15 stops). Transfer to the Blue line (towards Huntington) to King
Street Station (7 stops). Transit time is approximately 1 hour and the cost is ~$7.
Otherwise, a cab or Uber/Lyft ride is approximately 18 minutes from DCA and 1 hour from IAD depending on traffic.

mindful of the time of day you choose to leave, as frequent congestion occurs. Limited metered parking is
