Travel by Air
There are three airports that serve the Washington Metropolitan area:
1. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) - approximately 4 miles from AAPM HQ*
2. Dulles International Airport (IAD) - approximately 32 miles to AAPM HQ
3. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) - approximately 46 miles to AAPM HQ
Cabs and various ride share services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are available from each airport to AAPM HQ.
*If you are comfortable with mass transit, take the WMATA Blue or Yellow
line to the King Street Station which is 2 stops from Reagan National
(DCA). Depending on the time of day, transit time is approximately 10
minutes and the cost is ~$3. The station is 0.2 miles/4 minute walk from AAPM HQ [map].
Travel by Train
If you are traveling by train, the closest stop is the Alexandria Station on Amtrak. The station is 0.3 miles/6 minute walk to AAPM HQ [map].
Travel by Car
AAPM HQ is located at 1631 Prince Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
You may valet park at your hotel for $40/day. This is a reimbursable expense.
