Scheduled Metrorail Disruptions
DC Metrorail disruptions may cause problems for members planning to take metro from the Reagan National Airport (DCA). Please refer to this schedule before traveling to the meeting.

Most convenient airports are:
- Reagan National (DCA) - about 4 miles away by cab; or take metro.
- Washington Dulles International (IAD) - about 32 miles away by cab; potentially brutal traffic.
- Baltimore Washington International (BWI) - about 60 miles away by cab; potentially brutal traffic.
Travel by Train
If you are traveling by train, the closest stop is the Alexandria station on Amtrak. The station is a six minute walk (.3 mile) to 1631 Prince Street.
Travel by Car
The new AAPM Headquarters Office is located on 1631 Prince Street in Alexandria, VA [map].
Some metered parking is available on Prince Street. Note there is a
3-hour time limit for street parking. You will need to find a nearby
parking kiosk to pay with cash or credit card; the rate is $1.75/hour. Or use the
parking garage, 1700 Diagonal Road, daily max $14.
