Task Group No. 472: Needs Assessment for Medical Physics Educators (TG472) AAPM Members, Affiliates and Non-Member Affiliates - Login for access to additional information Activities The charge of this task group is to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment survey among medical physics educators within AAPM, that will be used to effectively guide and update the curriculum development within Education Council including the Educator Club. The task group will be responsible for the design, distribution, data collection, and analysis of the Needs Assessment survey. The analysis of this data will serve as the evidence base for subsequent Educator Club programming and resource development, specialty meetings, curriculum development, and other future uses within the organization. The needs assessment survey will aim to: Identify and characterize educators within AAPM. Determine training interests and needs related to teaching methods, curriculum design, educational technology, assessment, and more. Inform curriculum content and delivery format for educational session for medical physicists.
