Activities
  1. Analyze and map out the CT imaging workflow to identify key areas where human errors commonly occur, including incorrect protocol selection, imaging of unintended anatomy, and incorrect iodine contrast injection.
  2. Survey of human error statistics if the data exisits.
  3. Survey existing and emerging technologies, including RIS/CT integration and AI-based workflow enhancement tools, which have the potential to detect or prevent such errors. Identify gaps and opportunities for implementing error-prevention mechanisms within the CT workflow.
  4. Develop detailed, actionable recommendations for mitigating human error in CT protocol selection and anatomical targeting, aimed at improving patient safety and enhancing workflow reliability.
