  1. Review kidney function as the biological basis of Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR).
  2. Discuss the clinical uses of GFR.    
  3. Describe in detail the methods used to determine GFR using radiopharmaceuticals, including the use of sequential blood sampling and gamma camera imaging, providing specific recommendations for the implementation of these methods.
  4. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods used to determine GFR (inulin clearance, estimated GFR [eGFR], radiopharmaceutical based), including the accuracy of different methods as well as implementation decisions such as sampling/imaging times, measurement device selection, and data fitting methods.
  5. Discuss common errors when implementing GFR estimation in a clinical setting.
