  1. Develop guidelines supported by benchmark tools and propose a protocol for evaluation of current and future PET auto-segmentation methods (PET-AS).
  2. Define numerical criteria for meeting the guidelines which would indicate eligibility for acceptance of a tested PET segmentation method for clinical use.
  3. Make benchmark tools and protocol publicly available for testing PET-AS.
