AAPM Committee Tree

1. Identify additional opportunities for community engagement and partnership to promote health equity.
2. Create and maintain a database of non-profit organizations, that are aligned with the charges of the SGMSC, in the cities that AAPM Meetings will take place.
3. Build and foster an ongoing relationship with the non-profit organizations, that are aligned with the charges of the SGMSC, through outreach events.
4. Promote the field of Medical Physics and the AAPM to the local community through the AAPM Brunch Event held at the Annual Meeting as well as other outreach events throughout the year.
      a. Highlight the mission of the SGMSC to fellow AAPM members through the AAPM Brunch Event held at the Annual Meeting.

5. Maintain a repository of outreach materials such as informational flyers and introductory slides designed for the general public that can be used at outreach events.
6. Prepare content for publication on the AAPM Newsletter at least once per year.
