Documents that describe the operation of AAPM's journals, including, for example, information on the types of articles published, review procedures and acceptance criteria, and activities to reach out to potential authors who have not submitted to the journals in the past, are operational guides and procedures, not policies. Documents that involve the AAPM as an organization, and particularly those carrying the potential for liability or affecting the relationships between AAPM and other organizations or persons outside the association, are policy matters and require AAPM Board of Directors concurrence. The procedures will be posted in a specific area on the journals' website. |
