Any presentation by the AAPM President or their designee of an AAPM position will be made after appropriate consultation with AAPM entities and approval by the Board of Directors or EXCOM, as necessary. If EXCOM is the approving entity, the statement should be presented to the Board at its next meeting for discussion. Position statements of the AAPM include matters of importance before the public, other organizations, and the profession of Medical Physics.
