Policy text
AAPM supported travel to any country for which the US State Department has issued a travel advisory at Level 3 ('Reconsider Travel') or higher requires prior approval by the AAPM Executive Committee. Applicants must submit a detailed travel plan, including the purpose of the travel, risk mitigation strategies, and an emergency response plan. The Executive Committee will evaluate requests based on the necessity of travel, potential risks, and preparedness measures.
