The AAPM believes that participation in educational activities is an important function of the organization.  This participation can take several forms.

      The AAPM believes that this activity would be of interest to its members but does not actively participate in the planning of the meeting.The AAPM will not be financially involved.AAPM can endorse vendor-specific workshops provided the following disclaimer is presented with advertising of the workshop, "AAPM does not endorse the product in question; rather, it endorses the educational component of the program." |

The AAPM board can directly sponsor, co-sponsor or endorse activities.
On going activities can be co-sponsored or endorsed for periods of up to five years.  Sponsorship
  must be renewed annually.
The AAPM will not participate in activities that are primarily commercial.
