Air Travel
Most convenient airports are
- Baltimore Washington International (BWI) - about 25 minutes away by cab
BWI Express B30 Bus - The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority offers express bus service between BWI and the Greenbelt metro station for $3.10 (cash, exact change.) Once you arrive at the Greenbelt metro station, you could (a) take a cab to the hotel or American Center for Physics or (b) ride metro for 1 stop to the College Park station and walk .3 miles to the American Center for Physics.
- Reagan National (DCA) - about 35 minutes away by cab; or take metro.
American Center for Physics is a 7-minute walk from the College Park stop on the Green Line. As you exit the station with River Road in front of you, turn right and walk about .3 miles to the 5-story white building on your right.
Train Travel
If you are traveling on the east coast, the closest stop is the New Carrolton station on Amtrak. The station is about 10 minutes away by cab.

Car Rental
AAPM will reimburse you for car rental for headquarters meetings. If you decide to rent a car, you may be asked to offer rides to other committee members traveling between the hotel and AAPM headquarters.
