Virtual Library
Starting in 2021, Meeting Registrants access content after the meeting sooner than Non-Registrants, regardless of AAPM membership status.
Presentations posted in the Virtual Library include:
- streaming video and/or audio of the speakers
- transcription of the audio for numerous presentations
- slides of the presentations
The move to a virtual meeting environment in 2020 and the expectation that future AAPM meetings will include a virtual component necessitates that AAPM rethink existing fee structures. On November 19, 2020, The AAPM Board of Directors voted to approve a motion to modify access to meeting content in the Virtual Library.
What does this mean for you?
- For Meetings held 2023 – future:
- After the meeting, Registrants will continue to have post-meeting access to the meeting content as a benefit of their meeting registration.
- AAPM members who are Non-Registrants will gain access one year after the meeting while non-registrants who are also not AAPM members will gain access two years after the meeting.
- For Meetings held 2021 – 2022:
- After the meeting, Registrants will continue to have post-meeting access to the meeting content as a benefit of their meeting registration.
- Non-Registrants, regardless of AAPM membership status, will be able to access the meeting content after an interval of time via the AAPM website. AAPM members will gain access one year after the meeting and non-members will gain access two years after the meeting.
AAPM Online Education Credits Program Now Members and Non-Members can subscribe to earn credits all year long!
- For designated content, both AAPM members and non-members may subscribe and participate in the Online Education Credits Program (previously known as RDCE) to earn continuing education credit (e.g., CAMPEP MPCEC and ABR SA-CE credits) and self-assessment modules (SAMs) through successful quiz completion. We will continue to offer ABR SA-CE via SAM modules until the modules expire. Expiration dates are posted on the SAM selection page.
- The AAPM Online Learning Services Subcommittee is actively posting continuing education quizzes for Virtual Library presentations.
