HyTEC 2105 - Tumor Control Probability of Radiosurgery and
Fractionated Stereotactic Radiosurgery for Brain
Metastases (2020) Category: HyTEC A pooled analysis of manuscripts evaluating tumor control probability for patients treated with stereotactic radiosurgery and fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery for brain metastases was performed. Studies reporting 1-year local control data for at least 10 patients were included in a tumor control probability model. Local control for tumors ≤2.0 cm in a single fraction was 85% for 18 Gy and 95% for 24 Gy. Fractionated regimens should be considered for larger tumors.
