Continuing Education Credits
The Summer School program has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) for 26.50 credits. The AAPM Summer School has also been approved by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) for 26.50 MDCB credits.
- To obtain continuing education credit, attendees must complete an on-line evaluation survey.
- The survey will be available online Monday, June 22 thru Monday, July 20.
- Attendees must complete the survey by July 20 in order to receive CAMPEP or MDCB credit.
- After the meeting:
- Medical Physicist registrants will be contacted with instructions for viewing the meeting transcript via the CAMPEP website. The transcript will list a description of the sessions and the number of continuing education credits obtained.
- Medical dosimetrist registrants will be provided with a transcript to self-report credits to the MDCB.
- Please note your badge I.D. will be required in order to complete the CEC evaluation survey.
DVDs of Audio Presentations
AAPM is partnering with Blue Sky Broadcast to host educational courses on the AAPM website in the Virtual Library. Presentations posted in the AAPM Virtual Library will include streaming audio of the 2009 Summer School speakers, transcription of the audio presentations, and slides of the presentations.
Access to the AAPM Virtual Library is a service provided to AAPM members. AAPM members may earn continuing education credits for selected presentations posted in the Virtual Library by subscribing to the AAPM On-Line Continuing Education Program. Click here for details on registering for the AAPM Virtual Library and information on the AAPM On Line Continuing Education Program.
DVDs of the audio presentations (identical to what will be posted in the AAPM Virtual Library) can be pre-ordered when you register on-line, and will be mailed after the school once production is complete.
Cost is $115
Plus $15.00 shipping & handling per order within the United States
If shipping is to an address outside of the continental U.S., shipping & handling will be $25.00
