High Altitude Precautions:
Colorado Springs is 6,035 feet above sea level.  Adjustment to a major change in altitude can take several days. To help make your stay more comfortable, drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids, use sunscreen and lip protection and take frequent rests. Average barometer reading is about 610 mm Hg so not much air to filter out those UV rays. Humidity will be about 50% so you will dry out quickly.
