- Episode #18 - Envisioning the Future of Medical Physics Education
May 18
Speakers: Ashley Cetnar, Megan Hyun | Moderator: Ahmad K. Al-Basheer
Synopsis: Just as medical physicists must adapt to the continually evolving healthcare landscape, so must medical physics educators adapt to changes in available technologies, new generations of learners, and expanding demands on their curriculum. MedPhys 3.0 is a movement that emphasizes forward-thinking strategic planning to find new ways physicists can bring value to healthcare, but how does this idea relate to education? In this webinar, we aim to explain this relationship, introducing and addressing some difficult questions about adaptability and change in all levels of medical physics education. This will include highlighting some examples of teaching innovation and excellence that can inspire educators and drive our field forward.
