- Synopsis: This webinar is presented by AAPM’s Global Research and Scientific Innovation Committee (GRSIC) and the Global Early Career Research Subcommittee (GECRSC). Successful senior, mid-career, and early career academic medical physicists from around the world will share their experiences surrounding grant funding. Our early-career speakers are participating as part of the Global Rising Stars program, which aims to highlight and champion early career researchers and global research collaboration & initiatives. In this webinar, speakers will introduce their academic career pathways and discuss their insights and advice into successfully acquiring research funding early in their careers. This session will include a panel Q&A discussion where the audience is invited to ask their own questions surrounding early career research funding.
The 2-hour webinar will start at 12 PM Eastern time on the designated day. Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions at any time via the Q&A panel in the Zoom Webinar platform. CE/CAMPEP credits not available for this series.
