Travel Information
Air Travel
The Grand America Hotel is just a 10 minute drive from Salt Lake International Airport. The taxi fare is approximately $20.
Driving Directions from Salt Lake International Airport:
- Take the Airport Road to Interstate 80 East
- Travel Interstate 80 toward downtown.
- Exit at 600 South (Exit 121).At Main Street turn left.
- The Grand America Hotel is on your right.
Ground Transportation
- Ground Transportation - information on Shuttles, Taxis, Uber, Rental Cars and more.
- UTA TRAX, a light-rail line provides access to Downtown. The Green line begins at the Salt Lake International Airport, runs through downtown Salt Lake and then out to West Valley City. At the airport riders can board at the station and Welcome Center just outside terminal one. The closest station to Grand America is the Courthouse Station. Fare is $2.50 and trains run every 15 minutes. Weekday service runs from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm, with a more limited schedule on weekends.
- UTA Free Fare Zone - Riding in UTA’s Free Fare Zone is a great way to take advantage of all that downtown Salt Lake City has to offer – without paying a single penny. You can board TRAX free of charge at nine stations.
Apply early for your Visa!
