Program Objectives
At the completion of this program, attendees will be able to
- identify the trade-offs between CT image quality and dose associated with common scan and reconstruction parameters
- Identify appreciate the characteristics of high quality head, body and cardiovascular CT scans
- Describe multiple dose reduction strategies, including patient size adaptation
- Identify how to adjust reported CT dose for patient size using the Size Specific Dose Estimate approach
- Identify how CT parameters can be employed to achieve desired image quality for common CT exams
