Continuing Education Credit
CAMPEP and ASRT Continuing Education Credits
The CT Dose Summit program has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) for 11.16 MPCEC credits.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint-sponsorship of the American College of Radiology and The American Association of Physicists in Medicine. The ACR is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Radiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The American College of Radiology (ACR) is approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM) to sponsor and/or review Continuing Medical Educational programs for Radiologic Technologists and Radiation Therapists. The ACR designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.5 Category A Credits™ of the ARRT.
To obtain continuing education credit:
- CAMPEP MPCEC Credit - Medical Physicist attendees must:
- Complete the online evaluation survey.
- ARRT Credit - Radiation Technologists must:
- Complete the required onsite certification forms and return to the onsite meeting staff. (No Exceptions)
- AMA PRA Category 1 Credit-Physicians must:
- Complete the required onsite certification forms and return to the onsite meeting staff. (No Exceptions)
- The survey will be available online Friday, March 15 - Monday, April 15.
- Attendees must complete the survey by April 15, 2013.
- After the meeting:
- Medical Physicist registrants will be contacted with instructions for viewing the meeting transcript via the CAMPEP website. The transcript will list a description of the sessions and the number of continuing education credits obtained.
- ARRT Category A and AMA PRA Category 1 credit attendees will be provided with a summary of sessions via email.
- Please note your badge I.D. will be required in order to complete the CEC Evaluation Survey.
- Category A and Category 1 credits will be posted by the ACR 60 days post meeting.
CEC Evaluation System is now closed. Credits will be released to attendees on April 22, 2013.
