International Day of Radiology 2020
The ninth International Day of Radiology (IDoR) is November 8, 2020. IDoR 2020 marks the 125th anniversary of the 1895 discovery of the X-ray by German physicist Wilhelm Röntgen. This year the day is dedicated to all imaging professionals and their essential role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic making an indispensable contribution to the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients. The motto chosen is ‘Radiologists and radiographers supporting patients during COVID-19’. IDoR 2020 will also include celebrations during National Radiologic Technology Week (November 8–14).
