The Housing Connection

The Housing Connection is the ONLY AAPM/COMP-designated housing provider for our Meeting.  If you are approached by any company other than The Housing Connection regarding hotel rooms in Vancouver, please be aware that they have no relationship with AAPM/COMP. You put yourself at financial risk if you provide them your credit card information.  To report housing fraud, please contact Karen.

Roommate Search BBS

Interested in sharing costs with a roommate?  Sharing a hotel room at the conference can stretch your budget and make your travel expense more affordable.  Check out the AAPM/COMP Roommate Search Bulletin Board for a potential hotel roommate to save on hotel costs.  

While AAPM will monitor content on the Roommate Search BBS, AAPM is not ultimately responsible for content posted by others, or for decisions individuals make based on the content. Please use prudence.

Hotels

AAPM registration, sessions and activities will take place in the WEST side of the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Time and distances are approximate. All rates are per room and are subject
to 12% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), 2% Hotel Room Tax (HRT) and 1.5% Destination Marketing Fee (DMF).

Confirmations

The Housing Connection will send you an acknowledgment. Please review it carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 3 to 5 days or have questions regarding your reservation, please contact the The Housing Connection by phone at 888-505-4486 (international number calls 801-505-4603) or by email at thc@housingregistration.com. You will not receive a confirmation from the hotel. Please wait until after July 14, 2011 to contact hotels directly to confirm.

Deadline

In order to take advantage of the special AAPM meeting rates, be sure to book your reservation by Wednesday, July 6, 2011. After that date, AAPM room blocks will be released for general sale and rates may be significantly higher.

Changes, Cancellations, Refunds

Reservations may be changed or cancelled via the web site or through The Housing Connection until July 14, 2011.  Cancellations received on or after the cutoff date, July 6, 2011 will be assessed a $25.00 processing fee.  Cancellations within 48 hours prior to the day of arrival will forfeit one night's room & tax. (Credit cards will only be charged if canceled within the penalty period). Early departures are subject to penalty fees set by the hotel. A charge of one night's room & tax will be applied if you do not cancel and you do not arrive (no-show).
