ON-SITE REGISTRATION HOURS

You were sent an email confirmation with a bar code on July 14. Bring a copy of the email with the bar code to enable you to use the Express Registration desks on-site. Please note, this email MAY be caught in your spam filter. The message would have come from EventNotice@XpressReg.Net and the ‘from’ line will read: “2014 AAPM Annual Meeting and Exhibition”.

No tote bags will be distributed this year. Meeting materials will be handed out in a plastic bag (made from recycled plastic.) Prefer to carry your meeting materials in something more substantial? Please bring your own tote or messenger bag

AAPM ANNUAL MEETING APP 

AAPM is once again offering a smart device app for the 2014 AAPM Annual Meeting that allows off-line access to the Scientific Program, Committee Schedule, Exhibitor Information, Maps and much more. New this year the AAPM Annual Meeting App allows you to compile any sessions, talks and committee meetings you plan to attend into a personalized schedule.

INTERNET ACCESS

This year AAPM is providing complimentary wi-fi throughout the Austin Convention Center (AAPM session rooms, exhibit and function space.) 

INTERNET/CEC TERMINALS

Terminals provide access to internet and the Online Evaluation System, which must be completed and submitted for continuing education credit. Locations: Exhibit Hall 4 and the Level 4 Foyer

AAPM BUSINESS AND TOWN HALL MEETING

Members of the AAPM Board of Directors want to hear directly from the membership. What should AAPM be working on? How can the organization better serve you? Here's your chance to be heard. AAPM's President, Chairman of the Board and Treasurer will report on the status of the organization.

The AAPM Headquarters Office will be located in Rooms 400/402 on Level 4 of the Hilton Austin.

AAPM Committee Meeting Schedule

NIGHT OUT EVENT – Bob Bullock Texas State Museum

Tuesday, August 6 · 6:30pm - 10:00pm
First buses depart at 6:00pm from the convention center
Check your registration bag for a map of food stations, bars and seating

Exchange your Night Out ticket for a wrist band on Tuesday, July 22 at the following locations:

  • Member Services Desk
  • E&R Fund Donors’ Lounge
  • HQ Office/Hilton Austin

Wrist bands will be required for entry into the Museum

Please note: Each adult Night Out ticket will include 1 drink ticket, good for beer or a glass of wine. Once your ticket is used, cash will be accepted. Non-alcoholic drinks will not require a ticket

EXHIBIT HALL OPENS ON SUNDAY AT 12:30pm

Ice cream will be available in (4) break areas. 

LUNCH BUNDLE VOUCHERS - GOOD ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY

All scientific registrants will receive (2) lunch vouchers redeemable for lunch 'bundles' in the exhibit hall -- one voucher is good for Monday, and one for Tuesday between 12:15pm-1:45pm. Pick up a lunch in one of the 2 designated areas in the exhibit hall.

COMPANIONS' WELCOME CENTER

Sunday-Wednesday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday, 8:00am - 11:00am

Please note: Children 11 and under will not be allowed in the Exhibit Hall or in session rooms

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS / ONLINE EVALUATION SYSTEM:

To obtain CAMPEP, SAM, MDCB or RLI credit, individuals MUST complete an on-line evaluation survey for sessions attended. Internet terminals will be available on-site for this purpose. You may also use your own laptop or phone to complete the evaluation. Please note you will require your badge I.D.  Those who prefer to track and evaluate on paper first may request a session tracker at the AAPM Service Center or Registration desk.
