Objectives & Outline

Objectives:

Medical imaging using ionizing radiation is coming under intense scrutiny from public, professional, and regulatory groups, who all share a common goal of ensuring patient benefit while minimizing patient risk. Continuing education in new and evolving imaging technology, as well as methods to increase benefit while decreasing risk, are therefore important aspects of the medical physicist's roles and responsibilities. This course will provide up-to-date and clinically relevant education regarding:
