Welcome!
All sessions and technical exhibits will take place in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch Street in the Center City neighborhood of Philadelphia. Adjacent to the convention center is Reading Terminal Market, a restored Victorian train shed which houses the oldest continuous farmers market in North America. Philly is a city of neighborhoods, including Chinatown, which offers more than 50 authentic Asian restaurants; Rittenhouse Square; South Philadelphia with its Italian Market; and the Museum District.
AAPM's education program and professional program will offer a significant opportunity to gain practical knowledge on emerging technical and professional issues. A major focus of the scientific program is the increasing integration of advanced imaging concepts in the routine practice of various therapies, especially radiotherapy.

Reducing our Annual Meeting's Impact on the Environment
AAPM staff members realize the amount of waste created by a single meeting. Most green ideas cost nothing extra, and some even save our association money. Our efforts to be more environmentally responsible include the following:
- AAPM does not produce any promotional postcards or brochures; all meeting program information can be found on-line.
- The Pennsylvania Convention Center's caterer, ARAMARK, uses multiple products that are cost-effective as well as sustainable. Greenwaves, Eco-Products, and EATware provide full product lines of 100% decomposable and biodegradable materials. All lines conform to FDA requirements and are made from 100% Bamboo, corn starch, paper, and other natural fibers.
- Brede Exposition Services, our official service contractor, produces signs on reusable Sintra plastic. Brede reuses, then recycles miles of carpet. Aluminum and cardboard from the show floor is recycled.
- Philadelphia is ranked one of the top ten green cities by SustainLane.com.
