Radiation Oncology-Healthcare Advisory Council seeking volunteers
As part of the Radiation Oncology-Incident Learning System (RO-ILS), AAPM and ASTRO are looking for volunteers to participate in the Radiation Oncology-Healthcare Advisory Council (RO-HAC). The RO-HAC is an advisory council that conducts analysis of the data within the RO-ILS. The RO-ILS is a patient safety organization (PSO) designed to improve the quality and safety of health care delivery within radiation oncology. All providers within the radiation oncology team are encouraged to apply. Selections for the RO-HAC will be approved by members of the ASTRO/AAPM Steering Committee. Learn more about the RO-ILS and how to apply for the RO-HAC.

Image Wisely Radiation Safety Case
We are very proud to announce the launch of our first Image Wisely Radiation Safety Case, "CT Dose and Size-Specific Dose Estimate" by Mark Supanich and Donald Peck.
This has been a collaborative effort by Image Wisely, the ACR Department of Quality and Safety and the ACR Department of Education. It is the first of 6 programs that will become available each year, providing free continuing education credits (½ for each program) on radiation safety to radiologists, medical physicists and imaging technologists. Our thanks to Mark and Don for their outstanding work.
