    • The ABR Continuing Certification Process: Updates from the ABR
Topic: How are OLA Questions Developed, Scored, and Evaluated? What Happens to the Comments Submitted by Participants?
Synopsis: Most ABR diplomates participate in Continuing Certification, of which Part 3 is Online Longitudinal Assessment, or OLA. Participants have expressed questions about OLA, particularly how OLA is scored, how to interpret the dashboard, and why the current cumulative score moves up and down, seemingly independent of whether questions are answered correctly or not. While we will touch on the other topics, the focus in this webinar will be an explanation of OLA scoring.

    • New 2025 CPT Codes for MR Safety: Diagnostic MRI or MR-guided Therapy/intervention
Synopsis: Six new CPT codes for 2025 have been introduced for the additional work to perform MR exams for patients with implanted devices or foreign bodies. Three of these codes include medical physicist/MR Safety Expert time to support these services. This webinar aims to describe the medical physicist work involved with the provision of these services and the required documentation to bill the codes. While diagnostic MRI will drive most utilization of the new codes, these services are also performed in the MR-guided interventional setting or the MR-simulation/MR-guided therapy setting. A final discussion of the initial CMS rate-setting for these codes will be provided for both the non-facility (billing under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule) and hospital outpatient settings (billing under HOPPS).
      Speakers: Edmonson, Smith Fuss, Ferenci
