All tours will be handled by Destination Management Services. Make sure to register early as tours have a
minimum of 30 people. Any tours that do not have the minimum number of registrants by July 1 will be
canceled. Tour prices include round-trip deluxe motorcoach transportation, certified tour guide, admission fees
and meals, where applicable. In case of any cancellation of a tour, a full refund will be made following the
meeting, or the prepayment can be applied to any other tour at the pre-registration price. On-site tour tickets
will be available in the Companions' Hospitality Suite located in the Hyatt. Light breakfast foods in the morning
and beverages in the afternoon will be served.
Sunday, July 27 $15 -- ADVANCE REGISTRATION $18 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION This is a 2-hour sampler tour of Milwaukee to introduce visitors to the city. The tour will leave from the
Hyatt but return drop-off will be made at each of the other meeting hotels, as needed.
Monday, July 28 $50 -- ADVANCE REGISTRATION $55 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION Visit America's largest outdoor museum of 19th century immigrant farm and village life, located on 576
acres of rolling meadow and woodlands, 35 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Farm buildings built
by German, Finish, Danish, Norwegian, and Polish immigrants have been collected and restored at
Old World Wisconsin. Visitors are able to stroll through working farms and a Midwestern village to talk
with interpreters dressed in period costume carrying out daily tasks. Admission and a tram ticket are
included.
Lunch is included at the Clausing Barn, a 1897 octagonal barn converted into a restaurant. The sit-down meal will feature Harvest Chicken Breast, a traditional dinner of the 1880's; a vegetarian lasagna
selection is available. After lunch, you will stop in Delafield, a historic town near the museum. Included
in the stop will be the Delafield Antique Center, featuring 75 dealers in 18th, 19th and 20th century
furniture, accessories and art.
Tuesday, July 29 $35 -- ADVANCE REGISTRATION $38 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION In the morning, you will visit the Harley-Davidson transmission and engine assembly plant in
Milwaukee and learn why this company has been called an 'American Success Story.' Harley-Davidson was founded in 1903 and now enjoys world-wide popularity as the premiere maker of
motorcycles. Low-heeled, completely closed shoes are mandatory; photography and video recording
are not allowed on the tour.
Lunch is included at Saz's, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's "Critic's Choice" as the best place in
Milwaukee for barbecued ribs. Lunch will be served in their famous beer garden, a popular spot with
local sports fans. Your luncheon selection will be made at the beginning of the tour; a vegetarian
menu will be available.
After lunch, you will visit Miller Brewery's historic "Cave Museum" and tour the brewing and bottling house. Enjoy samples of Miller's products and soft drinks in the Bavarian Miller Inn after the tour. Tuesday, July 29 $40 -- ADVANCE REGISTRATION $45 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION This guided motorcoach tour will trace the history of Milwaukee from its earliest beginnings to the
present. The tour is full of historical facts and you will learn about this fine city's ethnic diversity, which
is reflected in the neighborhoods' architecture and cultural activities. The tour will stop at the Basilica
of St. Josaphat which has been the center of the religious life of the Polish community in Milwaukee for
over 70 years.
Lunch is included at one of Milwaukee's finest German restaurants, the John Ernst Cafe. Your choice
of entrees will be made at the beginning of the tour from such specialties as sauerbraten, Hungarian
goulash, bratwurst; vegetarian and children's choices are available.
Wednesday, July 30 $55 -- ADVANCED REGISTRATION $60 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION The world famous EAA Fly-In is the world's largest gathering of privately-owned aircraft. You will be
able to see aircraft representing all of the EAA's Divisions: Antique, Classic, Light Plane, Rotorcraft,
Seaplane, Ultralights, and Warbirds (WWI through contemporary). This trip provides a unique
opportunity to visit the "Flight Line" normally available only to EAA members. The tour will also provide
admission to the EAA Air Adventure Museum and the Air Show.
Oshkosh is located 1½ hours north of Milwaukee. Return departure for Milwaukee is planned for 4:30
pm, with the arrival at the hotel between 6:00 and 7:00 pm. Plan to wear comfortable shoes - the
North-South runway is 2 miles long with airplanes from end to end! Bring a sun hat and sunscreen,
especially for your children - there is very little shade. Hats, sunscreen, food, beverages, film and
souvenirs are available on the grounds.
Wednesday, July 30 $35 -- ADVANCE REGISTRATION $38 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION Explore dynamic design concepts for the kitchen and bath - the Kohler Design center is a mecca for
consumers, builders, architects and designers. Plumbing fixtures, faucets and accessories,
functioning showers and whirlpools are displayed, along with model kitchens and baths. Kohler,
Wisconsin is a small community north of Milwaukee developed over several generations by this family-owned company.
Your lunch stop will be at the Bublitz Family Restaurant in Saukville for one of Wisconsin's finest and
most bountiful buffets.
After lunch, a stop will be made in Cedarburg, a small village where you will journey back in time,
visiting one of Wisconsin's largest concentration of antique dealers and artists.
Thursday, July 31 $30 -- ADVANCE REGISTRATION $33 -- ON-SITE REGISTRATION Visit the world-famous Mitchell Park Domes, the only horticultural structure of its kind in the world.
Three separate glass domes, each over six stories high, display plants of the desert, tropical rain
forest, and local seasonal specialties. Follow the paths through each environment to refresh your
spirits and wake your senses with the distinct aroma of a desert, the lush vegetation of a rain forest

This tour also includes a visit to the Pabst Mansion located near downtown Milwaukee. This Flemish Renaissance Mansion is an excellent window into the opulent bygone era when fortunes made in brewing allowed beer barons to build 37-room homes with 12 baths, 14 fireplaces and much more. |
