ON-CAMPUS HOUSING AND MEALS

Housing & Meals

THE CAMPUS HOUSING DEADLINE HAS PASSED.

On-line housing is provided through the University of Windsor; fees are in Canadian dollars. Deadline to make housing reservations on campus is June 1, 2006.

Alumni Hall Suites
2 private bedrooms share one bathroom, small refrigerator and sink. By paying for single occupancy, the shared bedroom will be locked off. A limited number of suites are available; first come, first served. University of Windsor will assign suites by gender unless otherwise requested. Linens are changed every 3 days.  Towels, a cup and soap are provided.

 

 

A fee of $25Cdn will be charged to individuals for a lost or not returned key.

ROOM AND BOARD for FIVE NIGHTS (June 17, 18, 19, 20, 21) includes meal tickets.
Shared Occupancy (private bedroom, share one bathroom), per person
plus full cafeteria meal package (Plan B)

Note that companions who wish to share a suite must each pay the shared occupancy rate.

OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING MEAL PACKAGE OPTIONS
On-campus housing includes a complete meal plan. If you elect to stay off campus rather than in the dormitory housing, you may wish to eat at the cafeteria with other attendees. The cafeteria at the University of Windsor ONLY accepts meal tickets purchased through the AAPM. No cash will be accepted at the cafeteria tills. Before making your decision to purchase an off-campus housing meal package, you may wish to investigate local dining alternatives.

The Icebreaker and Night In are part of your registration, and are separate from these cafeteria meal packages. Registration badges will be checked to gain entry to the Icebreaker and Night In.

Residence Hall Check-in
Check-in begins at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 17 at Alumni Hall.

Residence Hall Check-out
Check-out time is at 11:00am on Thursday, June 22.

Cancelation
Last day to cancel housing is Thursday, June 1. No refunds for canceling housing after this date.

OFF CAMPUS HOUSING

The Holiday Inn Select in Windsor is offering a group rate of $99 Single/Double for those who wish to stay off-campus. The hotel is a 30-minute walk from campus, however, the hotel will provide shuttle service to campus each morning (Sunday through Thursday), 7:30am-8:30am. To make reservations, please call 1-800-465-4329 (1-800-HOLIDAY) or (519) 966-1200 and mention Group Code AAP. The group rate is guaranteed until Friday, May 26. After May 26, rooms may still be available, but not necessarily at the group rate.

Please note that by staying off campus, a separate meal plan must be purchased if you wish to eat in the campus cafeteria. No cash will be accepted at the cafeteria tills.
