Travel Information
Ground Transportation

http://www.admtl.com/index-e.html

Dorval Airport is located 14 miles west of the University Campus. While taxis are readily available for hire ($30-$35 CDN to McGill), attendees may also use the following ground transportation alternative. If you intend to rent a car or bring your own car, please note that downtown parking is expensive. Most hotels apply a $15-$20 CDN daily surcharge (check with your hotel). Limited campus parking is available at the top of the hill near the Bishop Mountain Residences for dormitory guests. Parking passes cost $10 CDN per day if available.

L’Aérobus: (reservations are not normally necessary) $11 CDN per person – one way - large 40 passenger bus. Telephone: 514-931-9002 Website: go to transportation section under directory at http://www.admtl.com/index-e.html

This service departs on a frequent basis during daylight hours (check schedule and day on website) but in the evenings makes several stops en route. It will take you to the Sheraton Hotel (closest to campus) or Queen Elizabeth hotel (closest to the conference center), where you can easily take a taxi to your final destination. Be sure to inquire on the number of stops the shuttle will make before dropping you downtown. A direct taxi may be more convenient if the bus has to make multiple stops (40 minutes-off peak hours) for a normally 15 minute ride.
