Updated Diagnostic Radiology Residents Physics Curriculum
The Diagnostic Radiology Residents Physics Curriculum was published in 2009 by the Imaging Physics Curricula Subcommittee (subcommittee of Medical Physics Education of Physicians Committee).
The curriculum was published in 2009 without any example questions and answers (Q&A). The Imaging Physics curricula subcommittee has now updated the curriculum with Q&A for each module in the curriculum. These Q&A have been written by members of the subcommittee.
The Q&A contained in this curriculum were created to provide additional educational materials for teaching residents as well as for resident self-education. Committee members who are item writers for the current ABR examinations abstained from contributing content for these Q&A.
Ioannis Sechopoulos, member of the Imaging Physics Curricula Subcommittee has also prepared a PowerPoint presentation consisting of the questions from all modules in the curriculum (no answers). Thanks Ioannis for your efforts!
The updated curriculum and PowerPoint presentation can be found here.
Please feel free to provide feedback to the subcommittee.
